After a pandemic delay, the third Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse will debut this month. Designers are busy putting finishing touches on the Greek Revival townhouse at 145 Columbia Heights before the transformed spaces are unveiled to the public on September 23.

The showhouse serves as a fundraiser for the Brooklyn Heights Association, which helped to create the city’s first landmark district, is advocating for the neighborhood during the BQE repair debate and is working to bring small businesses to Montague Street. The biennial showhouse replaced the annual Brooklyn Heights house tour, which ended in 2016 after 31 years.
