Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) has started work on Dubai Creek Gardens, a Dh3 billion residential development within DHCC Phase 2. The project will introduce over 1,400 homes across 127,000 square metres overlooking Dubai Creek.
Designed as a low-density community, Dubai Creek Gardens will have 70% of its area dedicated to green spaces, outdoor living, and wellbeing. The development will feature landscaped gardens, parks, sports facilities, and open areas, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The project will include the UAE’s first Westin and Renaissance branded residences, in collaboration with Marriott International. This will complement the mix of residential properties, retail outlets, and dining experiences planned for the community.
The new ceremony was attended by representatives from DHCC, Global Partners Ltd, and other key partners, highlighting the project’s strategic importance. Dubai Creek Gardens aligns with Dubai’s urban development strategies, including the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033 and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
These frameworks focus on creating greener, more liveable communities and supporting sustainable development. The project is expected to enhance the residential, hospitality, and lifestyle offerings within DHCC Phase 2, solidifying its position as an integrated destination for healthcare, wellness living, and urban lifestyles.
With completion slated for 2030, Dubai Creek Gardens will enter a market driven by consistent population growth in Dubai, projected to reach 5.8 million residents by 2040. This demand fuels the need for high-quality residential communities with a balance of amenities and green infrastructure.
Issam Galadari, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, noted that the Dh3 billion investment reflects strong investor confidence in DHCC Phase 2. He said, “Developments of this scale and quality contribute to our vision for the destination by creating an environment where people can live, work and access world-class healthcare and wellness services within one connected ecosystem.”
The project’s role in DHCC’s strategic expansion is to integrate essential services with a focus on community wellbeing. To support ongoing development within DHCC, DHCA has become a founding shareholder of the Global Partners Property Fund II, a dedicated vehicle designed to bolster long-term investment in Dubai.
They aim to create a unique and integrated community that offers a high quality of life for its residents.
